MINIATURES
I love to work with miniatures and here are some of my miniature props created with sculpey clay:
Here are some props I created for an accessory swap for the KellyKlub. The minis for the little friends of Kelly dolls include a rocking horse, a plane, a personalized toy box, a bat and ball, alphabet blocks and a skateboard and teddy bear.
Here are more minis I made. They are donuts in a box and yodels in a box and chocolate covered strawberries. I have taken pics of the boxes and of the food inside.

These are mini foods in Barbie scale. I made a wedding cake, trays of deviled eggs and a veggie platter including sliced peppers, carrots and olives with dip.
I am also enjoying making little toys. Here are two furbies, Blue dog of Blues Clues, Mr Potato Head, a tiny Angel beaniekid and gumby and pokey. Each toy is about an inch high.
Since I love the tiny frozen moments so much, I wanted to make one on my own. Here is my first try which is the cornflakes pouring into the bowl. One of my favorites is ketchup pouring onto a hamburger. And I also made mustard pouring onto a hot dog.
Here are some miniature wedding cakes which I made of all types.
This is a treasure box I made for my friend Chris. Her hobbies include golf, cooking, gardening and weights and she is a social worker. Also included are pics of our diagnostic team, which she is a part of, and Chris and her husband Dan:
This is a recipe box I made for my daughter Kelli as a present. She had gotten some recipe cards and when I filled them out, I decided to make her a cute box to go with them. The miniatures on the box are either bought or made by me.
This is a genie in a bottle. I first saw one in miniature which I loved but the price went to $2100!!!! I knew I could never afford that so I made my own. I bought the bottle from Tuesday Morning, decorated it with ribbons and beads and put a satin blanket and pillow inside the bottle with little bags of jewels. I made the genie out of sculpey. She is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The bottle is 6 inches high, counting the round stopper on top, and 5 inches wide. Here is a pic of her and then two of her in the bottle.
This cute little scene is my little Valentine Treasure. She is nestled in among the chocolates. The doll and chocolates are made from sculpey.
On October 8, 2004 I went to a wonderful class given by Sue Ann Thwaite on creating a beautiful six room mini house within a 6 1/2” Bespaq American walnut cabinet (baby) house.
Here is a picture of the little cabinet from the outside. Next is a pic of the cabinet opened and there are several closeups of the rooms. We made the wallpaper, flooring, rugs and all the little furniture. There are tiny details including lamps, baby toys, pots and pans and lamps.

We also went to a great store in 46th street in NYC called Metalliferous. It had millions of jewelry findings in all shapes and sizes, tools, beads and a lot more. Here is a pic of what I bought. Hubby bought a bunch of tools and I bought some colored wire but those are not in the pics. These will be great for plates, pans, serving trays, etc. The big oval is a vintage belt buckle which I am going to make into a pretty table.:

Here is a pic of two boxes that I made as remembrances of my latest performances in Ladies at the Alamo and Pinocchio:

And this is a whimsical project I made which is similar to the art I found at art galleries in Hawaii. It is simply a Hawaiian short set for a little girl which I have applied fabric stiffener to, added a necklace and then sprayed with clear enamel. It will be hung on the wall and it looks really cute. Next to the stiff shirt are two mini Hawaiian shirts with shell necklaces which I am going to hang on my dollhouse walls. They are about 2 inches high.

Here is another micro 144 scale project I just finished from a kit by Patsy Morris. The scene is about an inch square. It was fun to do:

I just got back from visiting my friend Bonnie Justice and we spend many hours working on making dolls out of clay. She showed me how to make the dolls, including the clothes. Her two dolls are on the left and mine are the pic on the right. I hope to get better at making the faces, the more I try. And now, here are two more of my tries, which I made the day after I got home.

This is a display I made from Lisa Engler's Bountiful Display. I added several of my own pieces and I am pleased with the results. The display includes lots of cheeses, pies, boxes of biscuits, spaghetti and different sauces. All the cheeses were made by me from polymer clay and the pie boxes include pies I made. The chocolate cream pie on the top shelf was also made by me.

This is my present to my mother for Mother's Day 2007. She is an artist and the paintings on the palette are miniatures of her paintings. Her paintings are framed in two sizes and there is a mini palette and mini purple paintbrush just like the real ones:
