DIORAMAS-DOLL SCENES OF HOLIDAYS
I love to use dolls to make dioramas of them in action scenes. It is fun to recreate holiday scenes. I have made an Easter scene, a Christmas scene and Halloween scene.
Below are pictures of my dioramas with some closeups.
This little scene is an Easter hunt with Kelly and friends. Lots of chocolate bunnies and eggs around!
This diorama is one of my favorites. Barbie, twin vintage Skippers and Kelly little ones are opening presents. Wrapping is strewn everywhere as they happily open their treasures. I have now revised this diorama to fit in my new diorama showcase. I have added a fireplace with picture frames on it and the stockings.
Here are some costumes I have just made for the little Kelly dolls. Next are pics of the dolls in their costumes in my Halloween diorama with Barbie and Ken. The last picture has two new additions of Kelly friends in new costumes.
Here is a second Halloween diorama. This one was made in October 2000. It involves only Kelly and her little friends and they are bobbing for apples, eating cake and cookies and drinking cider. It is set outside in the "spooky" Halloween yard.
